Drug Laws
Possession of any narcotics is a criminal offense in Aruba. Despite relaxed island atmosphere, enforcement is strict — especially near cruise ports and in casinos.
Ocean Currents
The north and east coasts (Natural Pool, Boca Grandi) have extremely dangerous currents — swimming is prohibited and people have drowned. Swim only on the calm western/southern coast.
Casino
Gambling legal for visitors 18+. All major hotels have casinos. Be aware of minimum spends and table etiquette.
